Early Days

Don't talk to me just because you feel you have to, perhaps it's time to say we've had our fun, me and you.

So, the ground isn't steady and we don't know where we stand. But when ever was stability so grand?

I came looking for excitement and it was you I found. It's not like I'm trying to run you around and around.

Maybe you're right and I just don't want to commit. Why should I have to? I don't want to, I admit.

We both over think the dilemmas of the day, like life is some great mystery and we're all in play.

Early days shouldn't make our minds confused, if anything they should tickle our hearts and create rhymes all bemused.
