Tender fingers picked apart my mind,
It unravelled in your hands so kind,
Chestnut eyes examined me all,
Now you know me, and still stand tall,
Forever next to me and happy,
(Even when I'm snappy)
What did you see in my soul?
Was it my overly passionate control?
Your words were a plunger into my heart,
Slicing it into pieces, examining each part,
You even looked between my toes,
Behind my ears and up my nose,
For every secret you had to check,
Even behind my hair, at the back of my neck,
Are you happy now? You know all of me,
A thorough, adventurous spree,
Even down to why my lips pout,
Now every inch of me is covered,
inside and out.
