Through rolling hills a topaz stream wanders, I have no map to show me the contours. I felt free, my curse has been lifted, my dragon had been released but had not left me.

He flew overhead, above the clouds, I could hear his wings whistle. I felt so grateful to be without the city's oppressive crowds.

Just us... Walking and winging into the wilderness, No more judgement, Leaving a world of bitterness,

I dipped down into the wandering stream, leaving clothes behind me. Water bubbling up like cream... I felt, rather than saw, him drift down to land on the stream's soft bank. Giant emerald eyes watched me, I wondered what they saw, how soft his scaly face could be...

My heart melted around his, The flames that licked up as tendrils, consuming and burning, I sunk down into the water, cool and smooth over my skin and hair, Suddenly we were filled with yearning... Hot, green body dipped into the stream, And off we drifted, in our shared little dream.
