So, Simon, lurking invisible, That's what you choose? Lurking in the girls locker room, Watching them take off their clothes! Don't you know there's more, A single perfect power, Be a fly on the wall, Or a lizard to climb a tower, A hawk high in the sky, Or a perfect scented flower, How about the ability, To leap through the ocean, Wouldn't that make me free? As a dolphin in the sea, I could be quiet as a mouse, Sneak about your house, Or be an elephant, Cobalt or diamond, Part of every element, I could stand as an old oak tree, Or make a sweet golden honey, As a tiny striped bumblebee, I could stalk Africa, As a lioness or hyena, Slip under your chair As a hairy tarantula, You must have guessed now, What my superpower would be, Transformation, shapeshifting, Like a tree boa, twisting Round a branch - that's me, I want to try it all, Fly, swim and crawl.
