A young dragon called Sapphire Rose, Never fell for charms or rhyming pose, She guarded her princess' castle, While her sweet sapphire scales dazzle, A prince dragon from far away, Heard of her beauty, so came one day, Surprise filled his heart when he saw her, For she was the Dragon King's daughter, His bronze scales like the sun, To dazzle her into having some fun, Dancing on the wind, spinning in the sky, All the while guarding the place nearby, The princess, envious of their love, Ran from her tower so high above, Out into the world to look and search, How to live truly is what she researched, Soon learning that hiding in wait, Was perhaps love's greatest mistake.
