Solar Fuel

Curtains stripped back,
Let in that sunshine,
Bursting through the smallest crack,
Please, this slice is mine,

To warm my face,
And touch my heart,
Forgive this greedy life race,
See me and peal me apart,

The great judgement,
Cleanse me of my night,
And relieve my torment,
Caress me in healing light,

Dawn has long been broken,
Great challenges lie ahead,
The day is mine now awoken,
No more time to rest my weary head,

Good job the sun is here,
To bathe me in new energy,
As it rises up in a sky so clear,
So now I may face my enemies.

I May But Not

I may be coping, But not hoping. I may be smiling, But inside crying. I may be stupid, But I can be Cupid. I may repel you, But at least I'm true. I may look gleeful, But I'm also fearful.
