I did have a date for my party but he had to bail on me. We were only going as friends but he can't now. Basically, he's married. But beginning of July his missus said she didn't love him and asked him to move out. So he did. He felt really crappy so he came over a few times and we hung out. Then one evening he came over and we slept together. Purely to help each other out. And from then on he came round and stayed the night often. Then about a month later his missus (who doesn't know he's seeing anyone) turns round and says she misses him. So he goes back to her, as they have 3 kids together. Fair enough. But he was going to be my date and he can't now because she'll think we are together "as a couple" when we really aren't lol don't get me wrong, he's lovely and yeah in an alternative reality we probably would've dated. But he's married. With 3 sons. And I value our relationship as friends more. And so does he. Annoying though that we can't hang out as proper friends anymore :(
