Our walk last night was beautiful You held my hand real tight We watched the boats float on the sea I could've stayed all night
The bench we found was well placed To sit and have a chat We threw grass seeds at each other And I got bitten by a gnat
Once we had put the world to rights And cuddled, kissed and laughed We waited for the tide to turn Then made our way back along the path
We watched the sun set behind the clouds An orb with fiery glow The air was warm, the sea was still I didn't want to go
Your company is enticing Your humour makes me smile Your knowledge is astounding I wish we could've stayed a while
Seagulls flew overhead We watched them on the draughts I will always treasure our walk last night Along that stoney path
