To really be betrayed means to have a relationship with someone. A proper relationship with strong feelings that are made not to be broken but to last forever. That is why it hurts so much when we are betrayed. String feelings and a good relationship. You said we didn't have that. We didn't have what others had. So why does it hurt me when I see you with him?
