Arrivederci Francesca

I will never say goodbye bc I love you. Grandmother or nana I loved you for being you. Your heart touched us all, and your stories brought us laughs. The memories of you will stay in my heart until I pass. I wish you were here to see me keep growing, I wish you were here to see me one day showing. I wish you hadn't left us all just yet. Bc I loved every bit of you and the cards that you sent. You taught me to write thank-you's handwritten not typed. You used cereal boxes to teach us wrong from right. You were so beautiful and yet you kept on giving. You drew beautiful drawings that kept us grinning. Your life lessons will never fade away. Bc you never stopped teaching, and loving, I know heaven is on your way. -I know you will find papa and be happy for all. Until we meet again arrivederci! Love is all.

Happy Birthday Grandad

84 years young you'd have been. And I sit imagining all the things you'd have seen. I remember the last birthday. Where you got your own way. I drove 421 miles. Just to make you smile.
