We Just Don't Care

The sirens shriked by my house.I was snuggling with my spouse.
"What was that?"I said.
"Accident."he said

As I thought about that I remember the sirens shriking. And five year old peeking. The remains of dads car scattered across the yard. And our mailbox marred.A knock on the door. And then a few more."Anyone home?"A voice said.I ran to my bed.
The door was rammed in an footsteps downstairs.
Footsteps coming upstairs.
I was discovered.
The fire man took me in his arms, the man came out with me in his arms.

Now I am living with my mom,but I still remember that accident, and how it hurts to lose somone.
