Time passing,
Taking forever,
Time passing,
Never, never,
Waiting for,
The five o’clock chime,
For then I know,
It is home time,
Getting home,
Suffering from computer stare,
Watching soap operas,
I don’t really care,
So long as I’m not,
Held prisoner in that place,
Walking round all day,
With the office friendly smile on my face,
Thinking of tomorrow,
Might pull a sickie,
Better get practicing my ill voice,
‘cause the phone calls always tricky,
One more day,
Till the weekend arrives,
Although only two days,
It’s hardly enough to survive,
From the nightmare that is,
The normal working week,
Please hurry up 60,
Its retirement I seek.
