"Nellie, wake up!" Nellie sighed.
"I'm coming. Really, I am."
She slid out of bed and put on her regular pirate clothes- a puffy white tunic, navy trousers, and a leather belt that didn't match her leather boots. She then ran quickly to the Captains Quarters. This morning she had a very important meeting and could not be late.
Already at the Captains Quarters, Nellie's best friend was nervously waiting for her.
"Oh, Nellie." Elizabeta Clarinetta gave her friend a big smile and a warm hug. "I thought you weren't going to make it! Thank goodness I told Shy Alex to wake you up."
Nellie laughed.
"Good thing you did! I nearly forgot! I wonder why they want to see us this morning since its Docking Day."
Elizabeta shrugged and knocked on the door to the Captains Quarters.
"There's only one way to find out." She said as she knocked.
Knock knock knockity knock.
Moments later the captain called to them, "Come in girls. We've been expecting you."
Elizabeta and Nellie walked into the room. Captain Bianca and her first mate, Jessie Bear, were waiting for them with scowls on their faces.
