This is the sequel to Comstock Lode for @elliebellie. Enjoy! ------------------------------------------------ Scene- Rose, Alice, Belle, Dove, Iley, and Amelia are arriving in their rooms
Belle- Here you are! It's a nice big space, perfect for a little girl!
Dove- It has a big kitchen, and the windows even open and close so you can set your pies out to cool!
Rose- It's perfect!
Amelia- Well this is wonderful, but can you show me to MY room?
Alice- Oh! Can I go too, mama!
Rose- Yes you may.
Iley- I'll help you unpack, Rose.
{Amelia, Belle, Dove, and Alice move to stage right and mime unpacking/talking. Rose opens her suitcase}
Rose- Oh my clothes are so dusty!
Iley- That won't matter because you'll be mining.
Rose- MINING?!? No respectable women like me would even dream of mining!
Iley- Well I mine with my husband. We've struck it rich!
{Amelia, Alice, Belle, and Dove return.}
Amelia- My clothes are filthy!
Alice- Are your clothes filthy too, mama?
Rose- Yes they are. {turns to Saloon Girls} do you have a laundry in town?
Belle- Yes! He cleans clothes quickly!
Dove- He claims its an
Belle and Dove- ANCIENT CHINESE SECRET!
Iley- Why don't you all go, and I'll head to the mines.
