Okay. Whoa. I was in a totally dark mood, then I watched this and I'm just buzzing now. It is the most exhilarating film I've ever seen. The fact is, I've never been hugely into action movies, but this has enough dialogue, humour, and sensitivity to balance it out and make it epic. The plot line is not too hard to follow, even if you haven't seen the other films, and it's a decent plot that actually makes sense. The character of Loki is played so brilliantly, so madly, by Tom Hiddleston. It had me rooting for him somewhat. Also, he is kind of hot. But still, I realised that all of the male avengers are pretty hot. Apart from Hawkeye. Anyway. Enough about that. I would definitely rate this film five stars and recommend it to anyone, whether you are a fan of the comics/previous films or not. Oh, but, one thing: if you don't like loud noises, maybe wait until you can control the volume yourself at home. My local cinema did not scrimp on the volume at all, and
I jumped out of my skin a few times. Even so. Fab. :)
