How must it feel, to be Not quite a boy, not yet a man A lonely life, for never to age Is the life of Peter Pan.
He has his boys Who've all lost their mothers His family To him they are brothers,
And Tinkerbell Who joins him in flight Though she can be jealous And act out of spite.
You'd think his life Would be full of cheer On a beautiful island And friends so near.
But Peter Pan Is stuck in time As if in prison Yet committed no crime.
How must it feel to know You'll never die To know that any you love Will fade from your life?
A magical life is That of Peter Pan But it is also so lonely For that boy, not yet man.
