The soft golden leaves fell elegantly to the ground, the crisp cool air made them dance together on the grassy foot path beneath the forrest trees. It was all simply the most perfect autum scene. The cool air, golden leaves and the dusty blue sky littered with clouds. It all made for the perfect new desktop background. I readied my camera, and just as the shutter closed a hulking great dog came into view. A beautiful young women, in a little red coat appeared from behind the trees, kicking up the dance leaves, giving them one last chance to be amongst the winds before they disintergrated into winter.
"Winston!" she called repeatedly, ah the dog jumped onto my satchel. "Winston! Oh. Oh, I'm so sorry! I didn't realise anyone else was out here." her soft brown curly hair floated in the wind.
"That's quite alright. Dogs need walking, whoevers around." I said, watching her brown eyes largen.
"I didn't mean to upset you at all. Nor did Winston. I'm sorry." She hooked his lead back on, taking a confused look at my confused face.
"I'm sorry if I sounded sarcastic. I never meant it to sound rude." I explainned quickly, hoping to correct my tone.
" Sorry, I often hear things in a sarcastic tone. I work in a school see, children are so sarcastic nowdays" I nodded in agreement. "So you're a photographer?" she asked, her voice chiming with utter delight.
"Ah yes, I was just here taking the last autum drifts." I felt my face redden slightly.
" Why is it all handsome men are photographers? Perhaps I should have gone into the modling trade." She giggled, and my face reddened that little bit more.
"There's still time." I replied, cheekierly snapping a quick photo of her. The flash stunned her for a moment. Her brown eyes widdening once more in surprise.
"OK" she blinked repeatedly, Before tugging the dogs lead a little. "Must be going now. Sorry for ruining your shot. Hope to see you again soon, toodles." She bounced away before I even had time to reply.
