Another story idea. And a begining to go with. Enjoy. I currently have 3 rolling beginings. The one with the most likes will be the one I continue. So read one or read them all. Enjoy---- Cult
I dragged my hand gently across the tall chain link fence. When things got boring in the village I alway liked to come to the boarder. I look to look out, and see what was going on beyond. He'd always told us we was trapped here for our own safety, but surely knowing nothing of the world beyond made us vulerable? It didn't matter He always told us we'd be happier not knowing, that the world beyond these this little place had nothing but horrors for us to find. But looking out beyond thse fences it was hard to believe anything bad went on. The trees seemed those few shades greener and the grasses looked a few flavours sweeter. The flowers grew in abunance, lilac, pinks, whites and reds. How bad could the world be if these beautiful things could grow in it? Surely He must be mistaken. I playfully pulled the fence a little, feeling the familar little tingly jolt run through my hand and up my arm. The only electric in the whole place runs through this fence, and the higher it goes, the higher the voltage gets. I looked back, analysising the small village that looked as if it rolled down the steep valley, and came to a crash along the little stream that was fed by the hills and came to a end at the deep lake. Maybe He was right, this could be our little piece ofparadise, uncorrupted by nodern hands. I ran along the fence, the static feeling running through my hands. Strange, i'd been coming up to this section of boarder for the passed few months, and i'd never seen one person on the otherside of this fence. In fact, I'd never seen anyone on the outside of our community. I ran a little further in hopes of maybe seeing something I never had before. But ss always the outside boarder always remainned the same. I ran faster now, having probably ran a mile from the time I stopped, when I noticed something strange. I stpped taking a few large strides back, and threw myself against one pannel of fence... Nothing. No electric shock, not even a little static. This whole pannel must be down. A thrill bubbled up inside my throat, that mixed with the terror my vrain had learn't to feel. Anything could come in... Then something worse dawned, anyone could get out. I let out a little giggle. I could leave and no one would no for hours. I grabbed the fence a little more, and wiggled it, but first i'd need wire cutters, and there was only one place I could get those in the village. Time to pay a little visit to a 'friend'. I let out a groan in acknowledgement of that had to be done, and began to walk back towards the only place i'd ever knew. The pannel shouldn't be too hard to find again, tye circumfrence of the entire valley was realitively small, with it's three mile diameter, and the village resting smack bang in the middle, within a hour I could get them and get back... "Tate!" someone yelled within the long sweeping feild of wheat that framed the boarder all the way along. I turned expectantly to see who'd called my name. I wish I hadn't. He was there...
