The big day is almost here! The man in red is coming. So open the finial doors on your calendar, And to jingle bells get a'humming. Shake those presents under the tree, Have a guess what you might have. Get that turkey in the oven. Pull a cracker, wear a hat. Meet up with family you rarely see, Get drunk on the mulled wine. Start singing although you can't. Who cares? IT'S CHRISTMAS!! So it's fine. Have a laugh at some bad jokes. Chase the the tinselled dog around the room. Open presents if you can. Just a cheeky one, it's too soon. Light up your Christmas tree. Stand by a freezing cold door. Listen to carollers ruining Christmas songs. Smile on! Like its not a chore. Hide the brussel sprouts. Open cards, and hug friends. Christmas is coming to town. And to you, my Merry Christmas I send.
