.9.

Dora resisted the urge to run up the drive way... Well at least until the bus was gone. Daniel had agreed to pick her up at the gates, partly for her sake, but mostly for his own. She wouldn't let him tempt death for her. At least not until she knew he could fight death off first.

Skipping though the front door, she skidded into her fathers office using the shiny wooden floor and her thick woollen socks. She coughed quietly to gather her fathers attention, that seemed to be scattered among the papers on his desks. "I know you're there." He told her. Her father rarely said anything, but when he did, he wouldn't merely say them. They more than meaningless words. When he said something there was a point to it. They were fact. And in this case it was a reminder of her stupidity. Of course he knew she was there... He was highly trained. If he didn't, it's quite likely none of them would be alive.

Dora glanced at the clock. Daniel would be picking her up in just over an hour. But her father had insisted that she do the entire evenings work. She had to find three locations where they could easily dispose of a body without being spotted in a suburban type town that sprawled along the north side of the river Thames.

Usually the maps she looked through would be fake ones. Made up of pretend places and pretend areas. It was quite likely that she would never be assigned to do a disposal alone that would actually involve moving and dumping a body. She would probably do what her mother usually did, much to her fathers distaste. Seduce the victim, get them into a compromising position and take their life. Through one means or another. It was something she would need a lot if practice in, it was also a subject that was still quite... Sore with her father. Understandably.
