"Penny!" A harsh voice behind her yelled, as if trying to catch her off guard. Clearly Mr Harris had never woken anyone up in the middle of the night enough to know that loud noises aren't enough just to make them jump. Turning she shit him a glare. "Yes?" She said looking out the corner if her eye to see the class watching her. "What's the answer? When I ask you a question I expect an answer." Mr Harris was a overly fat man, much like Father Christmas he has rosy red cheeks and a large belt, which almost threatened to turn the short man into sausages. "Can you repeat the question? I was distracted by your delightful green tie and bright pink shirt." She gave him a steady look, not wanting to give away whether she was joking or being serious. More importantly everyone in the class had managed to stifle their laughs, which insured that he remained on the fence. Seeing his resolve crumble a little, she decided to save him. "Actually, I have a appointment with the career lady in a few minutes. Do you mind if I leave?" Without waiting for a reply, she stood up, scooping her bag from the back of her chair and floating out of the room to her fake appointment. Like she needed a career adviser, she was likely to make more money than three or four people combined. How ever much she hated her families legacy, it did come with quite a nice wage.
After one quick lap of the second floor of the school, she decided that her safest bet for the next half hour would be underneath the stairs in the science block, hidden from view in the confined space, she might be able to get some decent rest. Quickly making her way through the different departments, and timing the CCTV camera movements, Dora began making her way to her hiding place.
Dora had to resist the urge to squeak in surprise. Blushing she shuffled from one foot to the other. Sat in her hiding place was a guy. One she knew of. Of course, she knew everyone, even brief background checks on those who she thought may be of most use. But this guy, she'd ran one on him merely because he looked handsome. "Sorry" she began to whisper. "I didn't think this spot would be taken" she watched as his eyes surveyed her face and body. She notice his eyes linger for a moment just below her chest. Looking her in the eyes he shuffled up. Exposing just enough room for a second person beneath the stair case. His green like eyes seem to glow in the gloomy dark shadow beneath the stairs. Hearing footsteps, she didn't hesitate or blush, she just lowered herself down and slid into the tight remaining sitting space.
A few more seconds passed before she dared utter a word. Letting the tip tap of the heels descending the stairs fade through a door. To her surprise, he broke the silence.
"So, if I pick you up tonight, will I get lucky?"
