I think every secondary school had its scary story that every kid knew by heart... Well I'm not sure if ours is anything like your one (please do comment your own, I do find them fascinating) but every little slightly weird year seven would always crap themselves at the tale. Reflectively in this day and age it wouldn't happen but here it is... And how it goes....

Year 8: "You know Miss Halls class room down the English corridor?"

Year 7: "Yeah, room 34."

Year 8: "You know that really old cupboard in the corner that she keeps locked?"

Year 7: "the one with pen marks?"

Year 8: "yeah that one.... Have you ever seen the inside of the doors?"

Year 7: "no..."

Year 8: "on the inside of the doors there's loads of scratch marks..."

Year 7: "why?"

Year 8: "well there was once a little girl in year 7... She didn't have very many friends. And on the last day of term, 3 girls in her class decided it would be fun to lock her in the cupboard... The little girl screamed and screamed. But as you know, last days always a half day, and everyone had gone home. When her parents discovered later that night that she hadn't come home... They searched and searched the entire area. No one had heard a thing. The three girls that had locked her away, felt sure it was just a coincidence assuming she ran away after getting out of the cupboard... But six weeks later when they returned back to the school. The teacher unlocked the cupboard and found a skeleton of a small girl, and bloody scratch marks up the door. The three girls that did it, they didn't say a thing... Until one night when they stayed after school for a detention in their English teachers room, and from the cupboard in the corner, they heard scratch marks on the door... If you still listen closely now... You can hear the girl trying to get out..."

From what I've already heard of secondary school legends, our was quite imaginative. Haha.
