Everyone thought they knew her...
Her look, her smile, her gaze.
But everything she did was fake.
Living life is a series of plays.
As she unfolded her personality,
People horrored, and ran with shame.
They didn't want to know her...
Was she really to blame?
So she continued to pretend...
Letting them only see,
What laid on the outside,
What ever out there, there be.
But to keep them from knowing,
She pushed them all away.
Her personality she hid.
To keep her shame at bay.
