The teeth dug tighter. Hiag struggled to breath. Sparks danced around his eyes. The world turned sepia. Blacking out. Suddenly the pressure vanished. The wolves began to edge away. Then one wolf broke rank and turned tale. The rest shot off after it. The lead wolf growled at Hiag menacingly before fleeing with its pack. Hiag's vision slowly came back and with it his hearing. Now he knew why they had fled. A tremendous roaring shook the air. Seeming to never end. It was a roar filled with pain and sadness. As if the roarer still had things to accomplish, things it had left to do before it departed this world. Suddenly the roar cut short. It was followed by a low mournful growl. Then a green glow struck across the sky. Light ever moving and shimmering. A shape was lifted into this illumination, the shape but a mere silhoutte of what was once glorious and proud but vicious and deadly also. Hiag climbed to his feet ignorant of what had just occurred. He felt sad anyway, as if a part of him had left with that majestic being. The death of a dragon was felt all round world. No one was left out. The beautiful light began to fade. Soon it was just an imprint on Hiag's memory. Still there in his mind, faded in reality. Sadly he turned away, looking would only increase his depression. He had to move on, the wolves were only gone temporarily.

Really sorry another short one :( had to though because it worked better as a separate chapter to chapter five
