2070 January 15: Hospital A crack of light shone through Saaci's tightly shut eyelids. He attempted to bat away the light source, but found his arms were trapped, held down by bindings. He peeled his eyes open to look around. It was to bright, he had to shut them. Voices came from all around him. He couldn't make out what they were saying but there voices were soft and comforting. Suddenly a sharp pain speared into his upper arm. His eyes snapped open, just soon enough to see the needle emerge from his bicep. A nurse came up to him. "Hello, this is Oxford hospital, you were injured badly in the war, you've been asleep for about a month". He already thought he was in hospital but the time he had been away from the war. He needed to get back. To help his comrades. What if they were already dead? He tried to get up but again he was restrained by his bindings. He fought against them. Crying out savagely. A nurse came up to him and injected him with something. He began to drift back to sleep. Deep dark sleep.
2070 January 15:Battlefield "Open fire". Sargent Kilgour cried out. From all along the line there came the sound of guns firing. A small man with a bazooka broke rank and ran forward. "Stand down Private Alden, Stand down. Get back to cover". The Sargent yelled to him. He kept running. He stopped brought the bazooka up to the fire position. There was a bang followed by a squelchy sound as his brains were launched all over the floor. The Sargent blew the smoke from his pistol's muzzle. Disobedience was not tolerated in his troop. The Enemy began to return fire. Cutting down men all along the line. They were out gunned, the Enemy had every type of advantage you could think of. Suddenly a laser fired from somewhere behind the enemy. It shot straight and true. At the Sargent's heart. He dissolved into nothing as the full power of the beam destroyed his essence. A great monster rose into the air. Fear struck into the depths of the troops minds. Men began to flee. There was no Sargent to stop them. The monster roared. Then lowered its head. It fired again. This time it kept the laser going, sweeping it up and down the line massacring everything. Somewhere a trumpet blared. A bright green dragon dropped from the sky onto the other dragons back. Clawing and biting him. The other dragon flipped over, exposing its underbelly but allowing it to fire it's laser. The beam struck the green dragon on it's right wing. It cried out in pain as it hurtled towards the ground. The earth shook and the cry ended. The fight was over.
I didn't think I would write another one but I realised I quite enjoyed writing the first one so I thought why not. Leave ideas for the next one as I am stuck. Hope you enjoyed.
