The wind whipped my hair as I galloped across the land. Past tufts of green and hissing snakes. I slowed down as the wooden town, placed in the middle of no where, entered my sight. Jango, my grey stallion, whinnied quietly. I patted his neck and jumped off. I handed him over to an old man with a tangled grey beard and a pipe. I argued with him until he agreed that I could give him the money tomorrow.
A breeze shook the whole town and made a tatty looking sign catch my eye. It read 'Bones' Bar'
I grinned. Making sand dust behind me, I walked in.
The whole room was filled with smoke and the smell of brandy. I stepped down the steps and walked over to the bar table.
"Dangerous place for a girl like you, Mary- Rose." Said the bartender, giving a toothy smile. Most of his teeth were gold or silver. He said he had lost them in a war, but he changes the story every time.
"Brandy!" I snapped. Slumping down on the chair next to me.
He muttered something but I couldn't understand it.
He slapped the glass down in front of me. I was just about to pay when the doors of the bar crashed to the ground. Two men stood in the shadow of the doorway. One of the men, who had been playing cards with four other men suddenly leaped up and got out his gun. He aimed it at the two mysterious men.
"How helpful of you to show yourself so easily." laughed one mysterious man who stepped into the light. He was also carrying a gun. Everything went silent. The sound of glass breaking filled the room.
"Oops." Said the bartender. I couldn't help but laugh. I suddenly saw a table fly across the room. It shattered the window into pieces. There were gun fires and head slamming every where. There was a tap on my shoulder and I felt a gun being placed on my back.
"I wouldn't do that if I were you." I chuckled.
"Wh-?" before he could finish his sentence, I jumped up on the chair, snatching the gun out of his hands. I knocked him over and stood on his stomach. I placed the gun to his chest and smiled.
"I wouldn't do that i-if I were yo-you." he stuttered.
"Why not?" I smirked. Without giving him a chance to reply I pulled the trigger. I stood up and because of there being no un-broken chairs left I sat on the bar table.
"Care to join me?" asked a voice behind me. The bartender was holding out two cigarettes.
"Of course." I snatched one of them, using the flame of someone who was using it to scare a large man, to light it. I blew out a large puff of smoke and sighed happily. I just sat watching the large fight. I laughed a few times watching two people throw someone into the wall. Suddenly someone pushed me off the table and sat where I had been. I grabbed an old beer bottle and smashed it into their head.
"Move it, picaroon!" I shouted. He groaned loudly and fell to the ground. I then heard a loud screech from the man who had stood up before the fight.
"Get your monkey hands off me!" he yelped "I not the person you want!"
"Oh, I'm afraid you are." Said the second mysterious man.
They were soon out of sight and un-able to hear.
"Why did they want that man so much?" I asked turning to the bartender who was cleaning a glass.
"Sammy?" he looked at me with cruel eyes. I nodded. "He's part of the crew. The sheriff got every man in town looking for 'em."
I looked confused. "Crew?"
"You haven't heard the stories?" he took my puzzled look as a 'no'. He sighed sounding annoyed. He gestured me to move closer to him, so no one but me could hear.
"Black Bellamy's."
