My Madame Butterfly Will she fly from me? Or will she stay with me?
My fluttering butterfly You will see This broken beauty
Oh captured butterfly You will not fly Your wings are bound
Oh my free butterfly You love me I will help you to fly
You left me, butterfly You fled from me When I loved you so
I know now, my butterfly You hated me Now you are free
I am sorry, butterfly I didn't mean harm But I still inflicted it
Return to me, butterfly I won't harm you If you please me ----------------------------------------------- This poem is a Haiku written in 7-5-7. I was inspired by a necklace that I have, which has a butterfly on it. Then I just let the words flow from my fingertips. Oh, how I love writing poems! And a question, can Y be both a vowel and a consonant? I am a bit confused.
