I knew what I had to ask. Picking up the phone again, I re-dialled the number. Again, the ringing noise...
"Hello again, Hudson, I assume you have your question?" The deep voice bellowed down the line.
"Yes I do. Look, I know you want to be heard. You would only leave your number if you wanted to tell me something. So what do you want to tell me?" It was worth a shot
"Ahh... Very clever... Well, I suppose I did call to tell you something. I have always thought of crimes as more of a game, so let's see who wins the round, shall we? I will give you a clue, a hint, a cheat, whatever you want to call it, and you can try and find me." The evil voice continued
"Ok, I'm listening..." I hoped this would help solve the case.
"You've seen the injuries? Haven't you? Just use logic! And, seeing as I didn't want to be overly unfair, I have left a very important clue at the scene of the crime, which you know only you will be lucky enough to find. Good luck!"
The other end went silent.
