A group of people are in an elevator with you. They all turn around to face the wall behind you. Where do you then turn? That way. This is the basis of the social flow. People often copy the majority, and for many reasons. It is a strange thing, that, whilst seems logical, has many strange surrounding elements. A highly detailed explanation will be released soon :) sorry to break it up into parts like this but I think that it helps people pick how much they want to read, and it helps me to get some parts out earlier for you.
