You may not have noticed but I've been gone a few days, But I'm staying in Canada, soaking up the rays.
Had to wake up at witching hour, My family kept away, I was in a mood quite sour.
A five hour time difference makes it hard to adjust, But I don't mind, into my family's arms I rushed.
An eight hour flight does mess with your head, As soon as I arrived I fell into bed.
Funny how as soon as I'm gone, The sun reappears for a warm early dawn.
Had a big surprise when I first arrived, To my greatest excitement, my granny has wifi!
So sorry to say you haven't seen the last of me yet, I can still read your opusses so there's no need to fret.
