Lost In Paris Chpt.6

I sat glancing around the bustling coffee shop as I patiently waited for Olivia.
She bustled in and dropped into the seat beside me. 'come here.' she cooed wrapping her arms around me and squeezing me tight. I felt hot tears fill my eyes, balancing precariously on my eye lids threatening to spill over. I swallowed at the lump in my throat and blinked back the hurt tears. I told her everything that happened, she nodded sympathetically and hugged me again when I finished. 'we need a holiday!' she sighed leaning back in her chair. I nodded sipping at my drink.
We parted ways and I had to run to catch my bus. I sat down beside a sweet old lady, 'you look like you have the weight of the world on your shoulders.' she clucked kindly. 'sometimes it does feel like it.' I smiled at her, relaxing into my seat. I looked up at the usual banner of adverts that lined the sides of the bus. Some promised to beat any insurance quote, others asking you to be considerate on the public transport, but one little advert in the corner caught my eye. It was a picture of the Eiffel tower lit up at night, with minute text trying to convince you to travel to Paris. I sighed at the cliche of it all, Paris the city of love, it promised. I was so wrapped up in my thoughts that I very nearly missed my stop.
I wedged myself beside my brother on the sofa who was absent mindedly flicking through channels, he passed the remote to me when he found nothing he wanted to watch and wandered out of the room. I, like him started to flick through the channels, mostly home renovation programs until one caught my eye, it was called 'little Paris kitchen.' featuring a young chef who moved to Paris and lived in a tiny little flat. She showed us how to cook scrumptious looking Parisian food and even showed us parts of the city. I sat engrossed, hanging onto every word she said. When the credits rolled on I sighed sadly. Then I got an idea, I lept up and grabbed my phone, hurriedly typing in Olivia's number. 'Amelie, what's wrong?' she asked, a hint of concern to her voice. 'you know you said we both needed a holiday.' I said excitedly.
'yeeees.' she said, excitement creeping in.
'Livvy, were going to Paris!'
