I walked Adam back to his block and kissed him on the cheek thinking he would want to be alone, but just as I was walking away he grabbed my hand and pulled me to him. He held me tightly and whispered, 'please don't leave me tonight, I don't think I'll cope on my own.' I hugged him back tighter and said, 'I'm not going anywhere.' I went and brushed my teeth in Adams bathroom, where I now had a spare set of my toiletries and changed into one of his oversized shirts that grazed my thighs. When he came back from the bathroom he collapsed onto the bed beside me and I wrapped my arms around him cradling his head and soothingly stroking his hair. I felt a few wet droplets land on my legs, and hugged him harder. We fell asleep and woke up still with me holding him. He looked up at me and gave me a weak smile. 'thank you for staying.' he said hoarsely. I smiled as my reply and kissed his head. 'at least now she can have a baby when she is actually ready for one now.' he mumbled 'and so can you' I smiled. 'well at least now I won't have to try and explain to our children why they have a half sibling with their aunty.' he said. My heart skipped a beat and my stomach dropped when he said 'our children' I kissed him fiercely. 'I cannot even begin to tell you how in love with you I am right now.' I grinned. 'you don't have to, because I feel the same way about you.' he said quietly.
