Lucy and I had trekked around the shops for hours, lucy had bought a powered pink dress that a heart shaped neckline and silver plaited embroidery around the neckline. The fabric then cascaded down to the floor with an airy floaty feeling. It suited her complexion perfectly. I however had not managed to find anything, anything I picked up Lucy would tell me to put down as it 'wouldn't do me justice.' We were just walking back to the car when she found it. It was in the window of the shop. It was a deep navy halter-neck with a v shaped neckline and it trailed down to the floor. 'that's the one' Lucy squealed excitedly. We rushed into the shop and bought it, I didn't have time to try it on but I knew it would fit perfectly. Then we ran to the car, and hopped in. We got home in under an hour, because we had driven so fast. Lucy and I were grinning from ear to ear. Lucy went back to Tom's room and I trailed back to ours. I walked in, in complete darkness, not bothering to turn on the lights and dumped my purchases on my bed, then someone came up from behind me and wrapped their arms around my waist, 'I missed you today.' Adam whispered in my ear and I relaxed into him. 'I missed you more.' I replied spinning in his arms so that I faced him, and wrapping my arms around his neck, he lent down and kissed me gently which grew into something more fierce, he pushed me towards my bed and collapsed down on top of me. 'my dress' I squealed as I heard the bag crunch beneath me. I whipped it out from under me and placed it on the floor, then I pulled Adams lips back to mine. I woke up and Adam was hugging my back with his arms resting gently on my stomach, I pressed deeper into his chest and relaxed, then suddenly remembered that we were flying out to the hotel today. I leaped out of bed, waking Adam up in the process and tried to reach my suitcase that was on-top of my wardrobe, Adam reached up with ease and pulled the suitcase down for me. 'thanks' I smiled at him. ' you need to pack, we are leaving in a few hours.' I said frantically. don't worry, I packed yesterday while you were shopping, where's Lucy?' he asked. 'I think she stayed at Tom's last night.' I replied. He nodded and walked into the bathroom. I heard the shower start and began to start packing. I packed my make up bag, toiletries, casual clothes, several pairs of shoes, jewelry and finally my dress. I had just finished squeezing shut my case when Adam came out of the shower, his hair still dripping wet. I grinned at him and dashed into the bathroom, I got washed and dressed as quickly as I could and Adam and I sprinted to the airplane and we were greeted by a very excited Tom and Lucy. As I buckled up, I looked at Adam and smiled. This was definitely going to be the best Christmas break ever.
