To celebrate pi day, which is coming on March 14 (pi is around 3.14) ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ We are all out of sugar And our apples are gone Our cinnamon is missing And the flour tastes all wrong
Our blueberries are rotten Our dough is sticky and thick We need to find some type of pie And we need to find it quick
All I have is this number That I can barely read It looks a bit confusing But it is what I need
It goes on forever There's plenty to go around Make sure the ones are measured right And the threes are finely ground
Be careful with that seven It just might burn your hand Stack up all the nines In that metal frying pan
The eights and zeros go Right by the rolling pin The twos need to be frozen And stored inside a bin
The fives will be the sweetener They taste like cherry skins With just a hint of homework And circle measurements
The sixes are the topping Place them around like candles Because they don't taste very good They taste like dirty sandals
The fours will be the pi pies fill They look a little green But if you dare to take a bite They taste just like whipped cream
Take the left over decimal point And set it on the platter It will be the garnish Because appearance matters
Well now I can serve my guests This culinary feat Because I think that my pi pie Is a dish that can't be beat
