Lying here so loyal You make me feel so royal You stay with me all day long Checking that nothing goes wrong A purr down my ear A paw on my head Making sure I haven't gotten ill While sleeping in my bed You know I am sick But if I call you are quick To come over and bite my nose To make sure that I only doze Purr purr purr my loyal friend Right with me until the end
