Year 1, The Honeymoon year Every new day's got a new cheer

Year 2, The start of taking care of a baby Filled with decisions, should we's and maybe's

Years 3 through 5, Just fighting to stay alive, Not enough sleep and too much time Happy still, but losing their minds

Years 6 through 9, The kids are growing up, Learning their tables, Presidents, and stuff "Are you gonna get a divorce?" "No, honey, no." "Good, 'cuz I love you both."

Years 10 through 14, They're older now, One's 14, one's 12, Putting little kiddie toys back on the shelves Because the kids are "all grown up now" "Are you guys gonna get a divorce?" "No, we love each other." "When you guys fight it makes me worry you don't wanna be together."

Year 15, Everyone's happy, we don't know what's to come We're just having fun We don't cherish this like we should've, we thought it would always be like this

Year 16, We find out dad's dark secret, hell is upon us "Will you ever get a divorce?" "Probably.."

Year 17, Still together The relationship is just a little under the weather Mom cried last night Dad didn't

Year 18, Is so far nonexistent
