I'm sorry to disappoint you, sister, But I am not like you. We don't view things the same exact way, But I do love God, I do.
I don't like much Christian music, It's too boring and dull. I'd rather listen to different things, But you think I've sold my soul.
I don't read the Bible much, I don't have that much time or room. "You should always have room for God!" Take a walk in my shoes.
"Pray to God, he'll conquer all." I know he will, believe me. But I also know I've got to fight my own battles if I want to succeed.
I believe in equality, For gay rights specifically, And I know you don't feel the same way. And that's fine, there's room for two, In our house, Two opinions will stay, It's not my job to sway.
But I'll tell you one thing That you've told me before- "Don't judge others just because their sin is different than yours."
Maybe I don't read the Bible, Maybe I don't pray, I agree I need to work on these things, But please, sister, Don't be a hypocrite, Please just give me a break.
