"Why didn't you guys wake me up?" Jupiter yelled.
"We tried." Gavin said grouchily. "About 10 times."
"So what did you dream about?" Lydia asked her.
"Nothing.." Jupiter muttered quickly. She would never let the two know what she had dreamt about. If they only saw the fears inside of her. Because in Jupiter's dream, everybody died.
"If you say so." Gavin said, but he didn't believe her.
"I'm sorry." Jupiter mumbled.
"Attention ladies and gentlemen, it's time for another test." the voice suddenly said through the speakers.
"The bubble will appear in your room. Please get into it and wait to be transported to your location. If you do not comply, there will be consequences. The test will begin in 30..29.."
Jupiter stood up and grabbed her gun. The three headed toward the bubble. The bubble looked so small now.
"28..27.."
"What are we going to do?" Lydia asked quietly.
The spikes began to poke out from the walls. Slowly, the walls inched closer to each other, closing in the three.
"26..25.."
The three stared at each other. Suddenly, Jupiter put her gun to her head.
"I'll go." Jupiter said calmly.
"No!" Lydia screeched, running over to Jupiter. "You can't. You just can't."
"24..23.."
Jupiter looked at Lydia, and Lydia could finally see all the pain in Jupiter's eyes.
"22..21..20..19.."
"Lydia.." Jupiter whispered. "There's nothing for me here. I hate it here. I hate my life. I hate myself. I hate everything." A tear formed on the edge of Jupiter's eye. "I just can't do this anymore."
"NO!" Lydia screamed, pulling on Jupiter's arm.
"I'll only make this worse for you!" Jupiter screamed.
"No no no no!" Lydia yelled.
"18..17..16.."
Gavin put his hands on Lydia's shoulders and guided her to the bubble. Lydia broke free, and ran to Jupiter.
"15..14.."
The spikes inched closer.
Lydia gave Jupiter a hug, tears streaming down her face. Her vision was blurry.
"13..12..11.."
Lydia slowly got into the bubble, Gavin following behind her, dead silent. They could see Jupiter in the middle of the room.
"10..9..8.."
Jupiter waved to Lydia and Gavin.
"7..6.."
Jupiter raise the gun back up to her head. She closed her eyes.
"5..4.."
Lydia watched in horror as Jupiter pulled the trigger.
"3.."
Jupiter fell to the floor, her body limp, tears on her cheeks. Blood was gushing out of her head. A pool of blood was forming around her body.
"2.."
Inhuman noises were coming from Lydia. Her breaths were uneven.
"1.."
Lydia's vision tilted. She couldn't see straight. The world became silent. Everything was in slow-motion. The world was spinning.
Blood. Jupiter. Dead.
Lydia fainted.
