Innocent, lovable little thing, Oh the joy that you can bring, Forever you're the sign of spring, Frolicking in your dancing ring.
Tis delight to watch you play, I could follow you all day, Flighty little one as white as snow, So full of life to me you show.
But woolly baby sad I think, Your bleating world could be a blink, Fleece so pure could soon be shed, And in a moment you could be dead.
Rollicking beauty dance one more time, Gaily bleat to this my rhyme, Cavorting capers keeps chasing strife, Let no-one steal away your life.
