Shadows cast bodies in the darkness of the sun
The games been finished and no one's won
I pull out a knife and you bring out a gun
I can walk faster than you can ever run

You call me a hyprocite just cuz Im not like you
Turns out your more different than you are true
You call yourself old but your logics new
Its always been flawed; thats something you do

You bring me a solution to a problem I never had
You try to me happy but I was never sad
Till you came round like a caring dad
Masking all that was good with a label that was bad

But thats how you work; you lie and decieve
Its my brain you want; my soul you'll retrieve
From the depths of my mind; you'll make me grieve
That day i met you; that curse I recieved

You haunted me like a wolf stalking its prey
But you were a wolf in sheeps clothing who came out to play
With me but I knew that it would come to this day
When i would know the truth to the lies you dared to say

You almost had me; you were holding me tight under your fist
But I knew there was a problem; I knew there was a twist
In that plot; i knew that I had put all my power to resist
Your charming tricks and that you continued to persist

That you had the solution to all my ailments
But all I got from you was a bunch of derailments
I got into quarrels with my friends; into arguments
Cuz of what you said; reversed developments

You told me truths were lies and vice a versa
You numbed my heart; May God curse ya
You told me you were right; but I wondered who nursed ya
An old witch casting spells and trying to immerse ya

In a world of deception; a world of smoke and mirrors
A world of pain brought down a rain of tears
With thunderous yells ringing out in the years
Building on your ego; building on your fears

You were a monster in name but a demon in reality
You spat poison and your thoughts were pure insanity
You worshipped a chunk of wood; a bloated manatee
You worshipped yourself; in vain vanity

Told yourself you had climbed to the top of the mountain
You thought you were drinking from the youth fountain
Believed you were king over millions but whos countin
You just resting on your laurels; using up your bounty

But your the lier; the magician with a magic hat
You say you pull out a rabbit but its really a rat
When you tried to teach me you gave me a pat
On the back just I killed my pet cat

You said death was the stepping stone to success
But where you learned that I really cant guess
All I knows that theres plenty in distress
From your lies and I am one of them I must confess

You told me to do your dirty work; your bidding
But all it was was crime who you really kidding
I did all you asked of me in a single sitting
Cuz once its in stone its always written

You said you were my friend; it was the other way around
When I was in danger you said I was safe and sound
But i know better then to stay on being bound
To your throne of skeletons; your decieving crown

You taught me that life was about getting to the top
Of the world; too bad in reality its all a flop
Life's a bunch of canyons;thats why you gotta stop
And see the truth; whether your a robber or a cop

Cant you see the truth now; your logics dead
How long will it take till its outta your head
Every word your uttered; every lie you said
The crime of a life that you've always led

When will you wake from this deceptive state
You fear the punishments that do await
Your arrival; so you better not be late
Or increase in me all the hate

I need to be free; free from your rage
But what is freedom if life is a gilded cage
