The next day as promised everyone brought in their presents for Stella. They left on the mini bus to the hospital. Stella was delighted when they arrived! She smiled at Millie who gave her a present which was a horse riding guide because Stella's mum had told Millie's mum about the horse riding lessons. She would be doing equestrian in particular. Ruth gave her a lilac horse riding helmet cover. Ella gave her a pair of blue pumps, Ella loves fashion and wants everyone else to. Sarah gave her an English book so she didn't miss out on all the "fun" work, Sarah was a bit of a geek but she was nice. Harri gave her a pair of earrings, Harri loved wearing earrings, she especially loved ones with little gemstones in. Everyone else gave her things like chocolates, notebooks, pens and pencils. Finally came the big card who Mrs Lucas presented to her.
"I drew that!!" squealed Millie.
"Thanks everyone! It's all wonderful." thanked Stella. Just then, mum came in with a big cardboard box with holes in the side and saying "handle with care" then a black and white furry head poked out! "Thanks Mum it's a border collie puppy!" Stella shouted.
"He's called Storm and he's 8 weeks old, I have just bought him." Mum said gently, she handed her the dog and they all cuddled it. The doctors said it could stay if she kept it in a little cage in the corner when she wasn't cuddling it.
The class had to go back to school while Stella cuddled Storm.
