The next morning Stella got up very early and went to let Fern out. She gave Fern a carrot and went inside to get ready for
school, she walked to school at 8:15 and told everyone about Fern. She had crotchets to help her walk but she didn't need them when horse riding.
All day Stella daydreamed about Fern, she couldn't wait to get home! Storm was allowed to stay in school that day because they were allowed to bring their pets in (But no horses allowed).
The bell rang and everyone grabbed their pets and bags and went home. Stella's friend, Millie walked home with her, Millie walked Storm because Stella had her crotchets. Millie said bye when they went past her house. Stella put Storm inside and greeted Fern by walking her round the field. The postman came to the door, Stella went and took the letters. "Mrs J Anderson" was the first letter, the 2nd one said "Mr D Anderson" the 3rd said "Miss S Anderson" she tore it open and it she shrieked with excitement, it said she had been selected for the equestrian championships after just one lesson! She ran inside and showed mum.
"Mum! Mum! Please please PLEASE can I go to the equestrian championship?" Pleaded Stella.
"Fine, you did earn it I suppose." said Stella's mum reluctantly. She filled in the form and Stella went to the postbox.
