When Stella went to school the next day, everyone was talking about her. She had brought her trophy. Everybody looked at it, she saw Millie, she was running toward her. "Stella! You won! You won! I can't believe it. Now you have the title National Equestrian Champion 2012! Yippie! Well done, can I come home with you to see Fern tonight?!" Millie yelled.
"Ok, I'll text my mum!" Stella answered.
That night Millie and Stella walked home, Millie and Stella got into the field while Stella got the post from the letterbox. She brought the post for her into the field and they read it. "Miss Stella Anderson, You have been selected for Team GB Olympic Junior Equestrian Squad who will be doing some events in London 2012 Olympics. You will have to go to training sessions on Saturdays from 8am - 8pm and Sundays from midday to 4pm and then every other night from 3pm to 7pm. Please return this slip as soon as possible."
"OMG!! I'm in the olympics! MUM! Look at this!" Stella shouted, she handed it to her mum and she read it. She got a pen and filled it in, mum was speechless. She handed it back to Stella and Stella and Millie went to post it. Stella had one crotch so she could walk Storm. When they saw the post box it was being emptied by the postman. "Wait! I have something very important to post!" Stella shouted. The postman turned his head and saw them.
"What is that letter?" asked the postman
"It's for the olympic junior team! And I'm in it for equestrian!" Stella answered.
"My daughter is in that team! Well good luck!" The postman said. Stella gave him the letter and he put it in the bag. Stella, Millie and Storm walked home very excited about what is to come.
When they got back they watched Fern play outside over the haystacks while they had a biscuit and a drink. Her sessions started in 2 days (on Saturday).
Millie went home and Stella trained Fern all night.
