What is wisdom?

Knowledge applied

So if I told you I was wise

Then I must have lied

Because

I know wet makes you sick

But I'm out here in the rain

I know thinking won't help me move on

But you're always on my mind

I know you'll hit me again

But I can't seem to leave

I know I need help

But I can't seem to ask for it

I know no one could blame me

But I still blame myself

Because

Wisdom doesn't always apply

And love can't always die.
