As they see me slumping dejectedly by,
HE is there,
Sniggering like he doesn't care,
To have broken my heart, shattered it in two,
Made my entire life blue...
A single kiss could easily dismiss,
The hopes that filled my heart like a chest of treasures,
My only pleasures,
My chest as tight as a knotted rope,
My shoulders so weighed down by misery they slope,
My eyes well with tears,
My mind plagued by a million fears,
Then suddenly, before me, it appears,
Dissolving my anguish and relinquishing my tears,
A rainbow, arching high,
An astonishing banner painted in the sky,
Something else is coming into view...
Words, they are, so confident-and I realise they are true,
Believe in yourself- believe you are good enough, that you are beautiful and amazing-believe in miracles...
