I wanted a pet Cute and easy to keep. So a bought a hamster So little and cheap. “An ideal pet Sir” The shopkeeper said: 32 hours and the hamster was dead.
I’m fairly sure Though I can’t be certain There’s a Ticklety beast Behind my curtain. There’s little noise, just a swish of his tail Which is long and orange, and covered in scales.
