When you look into a shape-shifter's eyes, you don't see a monster, you see every creature of the universe. You see all the emotions of man and the like. Some say that it's pupils consist of black holes. A creature capable of unimaginable power. It is a trickster; a healer and a destroyer.
The shapeshifter is the God of the universe.
