TGC have always tried extremely hard to incorporate art and invoke spiritual, emotional feelings which generally make the games they make feel highly substantial.

This title in particular - journey is an excellent example of their vision.

The very first thing I will cover is the sound track. The orchestral theme exists throughout the game from beginning to end and will exactly express your feelings at the time. It changes from drifting and depressing all the way to complete and utter elation..

The controls are extremely intuitive and simplistic. It could of been played on an old NES controller or sega master system.

Which isn't a bad thing considering that the gameplay it's self is only around 3 hours long.

Graphically it is very good. It is rendered to look like an oil painting effect, ever so slightly.

You play a character that completely lacks a gender. In a clearly ruined world. You begin in the sandy wasteland looking out at your destination. Everything from now till then is your journey and it is epic ...
