I thought long and hard about what to write about as my first topic. After reading several posts, I decided on Religion. First off, I am a Christian. I believe the whole Bible, and I believe in a literal 6 day creation, making me a young earth creationist. I believe in the Trinity. I also believe that Christianity isn't a religion, it's a relationship. That said, as I was reading some posts, it saddened me to see that so many people believe that there is not proof that the Bible is accurate and that Jesus never existed. In actuality, facts and evidence prove the opposite. Jesus DID exist. There is more evidence that Jesus existed than there is that Socrates existed. The Bible IS an accurate, historical, true document. There are more than 6,000 old, original manuscripts of the Bible. There are only 5 for the Beowulf. (There are many other examples but I am ashamed to say I don't remember them all) There are several more examples and proofs, and if you wish to know more look up The Case for Christ by Lee Strobel. He is a lawyer/attorney who was a former atheist. Look him up!
