Prometheus

How can a film be brilliant and unrewarding at the same time...

Well, I found it. Not surprisingly Prometheus doesn't hit the heights of Alien but then this was unlikely. Ultimately it therefore disappoints.

Alien is brilliant through its simplicity - Prometheus is far more complicated and suffers immediate recognition because of it. I think it will improve from repeat viewing as the themes are interesting.

Provides the background to the Space-Jockey found in Alien.

Nevertheless beautifully filmed and
worth the admittance fee. I will be buying the DVD.

The Hunger Games

This film was amazing. However, as most films are, this was a disappointment compared to the book, as the book was much easier to understand.

The Beginning of Up

The rest of the movie is so bad compared to it, although it is all good. But the story of Carl and Ellie, the first 10 minutes...talking dogs and a little cute boy just doesn't beat that..

The amazing Spider-man Review!

I was a bit sceptical for watching this at first, as I am used to Toby Maguire playing the lead role which he played so well. But having said that, I thought Andrew Garfield played it equally well.
